Atrac 4.5 Minidisc deck. Part of ES series, was priced in the middle range. 20-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter. Two-Line front panel display. Supports CD text when recording MD from a CD.
Supports Sony S-link, so it can connect with similar Sony products. Can also work with the PCLK-MD1 PC connection kit.
Remote: RM-D18M (see product park source). Minidisc.org says it shipped with the RM-D17 remote (maybe foreign markets?)
Guts are identical to MDS-PC1.
